چکیده
Banana pseudostem is a type of agricultural waste that has the potential to replace polybags. The planting media used in lettuce growing must be suitable for increasing plant development and productivity. Furthermore, water requirements met, as banana pseudostems have high content are expected minimize watering procedure. goal this research was find good medium interval production container. From March June 2021, study done at UPT Agrofarm RIU. A Factorial Completely Randomized Design employed (CRD). first medium, which divided into four levels: M1: top soil, M2: RYP M3: peat M4: soil (1:1). second aspect interval, three categories: F1: daily, F2: every two days, F3: days. results showed using container once days boosted leaf number, wet dry weight, root volume.

Availability on Total Productivity, Root Morphology, Photosynthesis and Nitrogen Metabolism of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) Recombinant Inbred Lines
We have identified certain heat-resistant (HR) and heat-sensitive (HS) lettuce (Lactuca sativa) recombinant inbred lines (RILs) from 113 lines under hot ambient temperature by studying the root morphology, shoot and root productivity. Except for temperature, one of the other major determinants of root morphology is nitrate (NO3 ) availability. In this study, total productivity, root morphology,...
متن کاملCarotenoids of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) grown on soil enriched with spent coffee grounds.
The impact of spent coffee grounds on carotenoid and chlorophyll content in lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. capitata) was evaluated. A greenhouse pot experiment was conducted with spent coffee amounts ranging from 0% to 20% (v/v). All evaluated pigments increased proportionally to spent coffee amounts. Lutein and β-carotene levels increased up to 90% and 72%, respectively, while chlorophylls in...
متن کاملEffects of Nitrogen Fertilizers on the Growth and Nitrate Content of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.)
Nitrogen is an essential element for plant growth and development; however, due to environmental pollution, high nitrate concentrations accumulate in the edible parts of these leafy vegetables, particularly if excessive nitrogen fertilizer has been applied. Consuming these crops can harm human health; thus, developing a suitable strategy for the agricultural application of nitrogen fertilizer i...
متن کاملThe Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IB (isolate 7/3/14) transcriptome during interaction with the host plant lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.)
The necrotrophic pathogen Rhizoctonia solani is one of the most economically important soil-borne pathogens of crop plants. Isolates of R. solani AG1-IB are the major pathogens responsible for bottom-rot of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) and are also responsible for diseases in other plant species. Currently, there is lack of information regarding the molecular responses in R. solani during the pa...
متن کاملCross-contamination of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) with Escherichia coli O157:H7 via contaminated ground beef.
A lettuce outbreak strain of E. coli O157:H7 was used to quantitate the pathogen's survival in ground beef and its transfer to hands, cutting board surfaces, and lettuce. Overnight storage of inoculated beef at 4 degrees C resulted in no pathogen growth, while room-temperature storage allowed multiplication. Hamburger patty formation allowed the transfer of bacteria to hands. Contaminated finge...
